real folks: couple of times during the parade he and michelle obama got out off the limousine and walked for a couple of blocks. floats go by. on the national mall today. no official estimate of the crowd count. we haven't heard from the u.s. park police yet. one inaugural source told us that there were more than a million people out on the mall today. and if that number holds, not only is is it more than they expected to come out but it would easily count as the largest crowd ever for a second inauguration. we talked to plenty of folks out on the mall and along the parade route today to get their thoughts on today's celebrations. here is what they told us. >> it was just as inspiring and invoking in terms of, you know, its tone, its presence, and, you know, the ceremony of what it was, definitely 2009 was much larger. >> i think certainly tonight less sort of you fork. the history that was made in 2009 certainly couldn't be recreated. i think this occasion was more of a subdued but sort of confidence affirming kind of ceremony. >> the president is is doing his best. and i'm s
